Water Vapour Sorption with Raman spectroscopy
Sensor fusion combining water vapour sorption and Raman spectroscopy is the most promising option for the installation of additional sensors in the SPS systems. All SPS instruments can be equipped or retrofitted to integrate a PhAT® probe head for the Kaiser RXN Raman spectrometer.
SPS software integration
The SPS multi-sample system provides a multitude of options for measuring and comparing several samples by means of Raman spectroscopy. The Raman option of the SPS software contains a menu for the simple selection of samples and time courses for Raman analysis.
All sample-specific data are transferred to the Raman software HoloPro®.
The performance of the Kaiser RXN Raman laser coupled with the focus-free PhAT probe head provides high sensitivity without the disadvantages of a focused laser spot.
The combination the multi-sample functionality of an SPS instrument with Raman spectrometry enables the
- evaluation of the sorption curves
- combined with the Raman spectrum
- plus the possibility to compare and measure several samples at the same time
and opens new and exciting perspectives for the analysis of solid samples.
