MCC Reference
proUmid’s MCC Reference is a certified reference material made of microcrystalline cellulose. It streamlines routine calibration of gravimetric sorption instruments and ensures reliable measurement results.

Reference Material: Microcrystalline Cellulose
The humidity validation kit of proUmid includes 5 vials of microcrystalline cellulose (MCC). Each vial contains 500 mg MCC Reference. The cellulose was tested in a stability study, validated in a round robin test and was certified as a company internal reference standard. For further information on the certification of the MCC as a reference material, please download the corresponding Application Note_18-02 MCC Reference Certification.

In-line Humidity Validation
The proUmid multi-sample systems allow for humidity validation even during a regular measurement by placing the MCC Reference material in an unused sample dish. There's no need to run a separate validation measurement, saving valuable laboratory time. This inline validation not only confirms the device’s calibration but also directly verifies the data of the current measurement. For more information on using the MCC Reference, please refer to Application Note 18-03 MCC DVS Humidity Validation.
