Modular Humidity Generator for Flexible System Integration

The MHG100 provides a maximum flow rate of 15 l/min which is suitable for humidity control for chamber volumes up to 100 l. The modular setup with symmetrical gas supply in two lines and the wide temperature and humidity range make the MHG100 a perfect match for the most diverse target systems. As an OEM product, the MHG100 can be easily integrated into any instrument setup.

System Architecture

The heart of the MHG100 is a high-performance central humidification and mixing unit. It delivers constant gas flow with controlled humidity. Humidity regulation is achieved by varying the proportions of dry and saturated gas.

Wide Temperature and Humidity Range

The temperature in the MHG100 mixing system can be adjusted manually or automatically via an algorithm to match the conditions in the target system. The MHG100 can be operated in the range of 5 °C to 75 °C. Humidity control is available over the full range from dry supply gas to full saturation. The compact but powerful MHG100 provides very high flow rates even at high temperature and high humidity.

  • Heated Supply Lines

    Temperature control in the supply lines includes an automated or manually configured temperature offset. Humidity control up to the saturation level is ensured even at very high temperatures without any risk of condensation in the supply lines.

  • Cooling Option

    A cooling circulation thermostat can be connected to the MHG100, allowing for operation at temperatures below room temperature down to just above the freezing point.

Customization

The MHG32 can be operated locally via the front panel or by remote control via RS232 or Ethernet. The Modbus software interface is fully configurable and allows for complete integration into the control software of the target system.

  • Humidity Sensor

    The sensor interface is fully configurable. Any sensor with an analogue signal output can be connected.

  • Opertion & Software Interface

    The MHG100 can be operated locally via the front panel or by remote control via RS232 or Ethernet. The software interface is fully configurable and allows for complete integration into the control software of the target system.

    • Miniaturized T/RH sensor for tiny volumes and narrow spaces
    • Sensor antechamber for systems that do not allow to place the humidity sensor inside the target volume
